Military Service

Over the past several decades, members of the extended family have served in all the braches of the US Military. For example, many of the Galvez cousins, including John and Christopher Lopez Galvez, as well as Christopher and Macky Galvez and Chris Artes served during World War II. In addition, Manuel Lopez Galvez served during the Korean War.More recently, Christopher Galvez and Manuel Lopez Turturro served in the Iraq and/or Afghanistan conflicts.
